What is Prism?

Prism is Adsidian's server-side, first-party conversion tracking system. It captures visitor activity and conversions on your website and delivers them directly to ad platforms (Meta Conversions API, Google Ads) from the server — recovering the 20–40% of conversions that browser pixels lose to ad blockers, Safari's tracking prevention, and iOS privacy changes.

How it works

  1. A first-party tracking subdomain. You point track.yourdomain.com at Prism with a single CNAME record. Because the tracking endpoint lives on your domain, browsers treat it as first-party — no third-party cookie restrictions apply.
  2. A lightweight snippet (~3 KB) loads from that subdomain and captures page views, ad click IDs (fbclid, gclid, and others), UTMs, and any custom events you define.
  3. A server-set identity cookie. Prism issues an HTTP-only cookie (adsidian_id) that persists for one year — immune to Safari's 7-day cap on JavaScript cookies — so conversions that happen days or weeks after the ad click still get attributed.
  4. Server-side delivery. Events are forwarded to Meta CAPI and Google Ads from Prism's servers with full match data, deduplicated, and reconciled daily against what the platforms report receiving.
